Shimano put together carbon alloy rims, titanium hubs, and stainless spokes to created the Dura-Ace WH-7850-C50 Carbon Pro-Tour Aero Racing Wheel Set. Unlike other carbon wheel sets which buckle when the going gets tough, this one has the durability to handle everyday riding and the low weight you demand for races. Shimano also added wider flange hubs to boost lateral stiffness and increase power transfer when you're going hard.
